The Village Philosophy
The Village is intended to blend living and learning, action and thought, and to encourage involvement. It is designed for upper-class students who share common interests and goals. BLOCs are designed to complement in-class learning by providing students with housing options that foster opportunities to support common interests and contribute positively to the Village and WU communities. Each BLOC has a faculty/staff mentor.

North Side Association
North Side Association NSA is a great way to get involved on the North Side. Students representing the Village, House 6, and University Apartments work with Residential Life staff to develop new programming for the students,as well as serve as a voice for all residents, of the North Side. Last year, the members of the North Side Association planned movie nights, entertainment nights, the Annual North Side Art Fair, brought a blood drive to the North Side, and provided representation on different student boards including Student Union, the Food Committee, Residential Student Advisory Board, and Room Selection Task Force.
